Xbox Game Pass subscribers, mark your calendars. As part of Microsoft’s regular monthly library rotation, eight games are scheduled to leave the service this October. If any of these titles have been sitting untouched in your backlog, you’ve only got a limited window to beat them, earn achievements, or test them out before they disappear from Game Pass console, PC, and cloud libraries.
Game Pass works on a rotating catalog model. New games roll in every month, but licensing deals eventually expire, forcing some games out of the subscription. Once removed, you will no longer be able to launch them with an active Game Pass membership. The good news: you can purchase any departing title at a subscriber-exclusive discount before its removal date if you want to keep it permanently.
